OSHA interpretation letter responding to a request to clarify how the Vinyl Chloride Standard (29 CFR 1910.1017) and HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120) apply to entry into unknown or high vinyl chloride concentrations. OSHA concludes HAZWOPER section (q) is more protective and will be enforced instead of 1910.1017(g)(5)(i).
