Maintenance of and access to employee medical records.

OSHA interpretation letter of June 16, 1988 stating that employer responsibility for retaining employee medical records does not grant non-health care representatives access to complete records, and that 29 CFR 1910.1001(l)(7)(ii) and 1910.1025(j)(3)(v)(B)(1) require employers to instruct physicians not to reveal findings unrelated to occupational exposure.
