KE Nett AS is the electricity distribution system operator in the Municipality of Klepp on the Jæren region in Rogaland County, Norway. The company builds, operates and maintains the electricity distribution network and ensures a safe and reliable power supply for households, businesses, agriculture and public institutions. KE Nett is headquartered in Kleppe and is part of Klepp Energi Holding. KE Nett AS is planning to establish a new substation at Tjøtta in the Municipality of Klepp. The purpose of this prior information notice is to obtain input from the market regarding the optimal procurement strategy for the new substation project, including the civil works and building contract. In particular, KE Nett seeks the market's views on the most appropriate contract model, level of design maturity, allocation of detailed design responsibilities, interfaces with the electromechanical deliveries, and how project schedule risks and ground condition risks should be allocated. A new substation will be established at Tjøtta in the Municipality of Klepp as part of the upgrade of the Jæren regional grid to 132 kV.
